rehrar: are there any issues with converting the remaining matrix bridges to libera? (sorry if you are the wrong person to ask this)

I read somewhere that there is a user limit and increases have to be requested

The libera matrix bridge has a limit of 100 users in the matrix room

Matrix bridges said they would make an exception, but it never got done, so I emailed them, and they said they have a lot of irc bridge issues and are working on it

I wonder if we got under 100 and then bridged it and then everybody joined again if that would work :P

the limit is for the "plumbed" rooms, where they literally connect a matrix room and an irc room

the other way uses a "portal" room, which for example is what I'm talking to you through now via matrix
