hey folks! yo i got a problem - transaction has been "Sent - (Pending) with 0 confirmations for about half hour....?

the trezor showed right address and amount - my net MIGHT have cut out when signing tranaction, would be a problem?

I only have Tor Browser but maybe you can try this: browserling.com It generates a virtual machine with the desired browser and you can test it.

Anyway it looks like both the file and globe are emojis, but the Github icon is an image. Maybe the user's default font in IE/Chrome doesn't support all emojis, so the globe is blank, but Firefox has a different default font? Maybe it would be useful to use e.g. Font Awesome to display all icons consistently or use images for file and globe (same as Github).

anarkiocrypto: thanks for the link. Yeah that was the problem. Using unicode emojis are not consistent and reliable, so i replaced them with svgs (as i did before with the roadmap). I PRd the fix: monero-project/monero-site #1755

eh, kastelo had a different thing going on imo

from what i recall, there was some indication that part of its motivation was to kick the for-profit companies into gear (trezor / ledger )

somebody is working on another Monero hardware wallet btw. Or at least they were not too long ago

and on that it succeeded

Kovri and Kastelo are not too dissimilar at the human layer; disharmony between members on the project caused contributors to drop out and the project to ultimately become stale
