BusyBoredom[m]On the security of 0-conf: are double spends detected by the daemon before the daemon includes them in the txpool? So if I request "/get_transaction_pool" from my daemon over http, I can be reasonably confident that the results don't contain double spends?

nikg83[m]<BusyBoredom[m]> "On the security of 0-conf: are..." <- Afaik, yes deamon will reject double spend
-
pigeonsbut you don't know that someone won't mine a double spend before the one you see in the transaction pool
-
BusyBoredom[m]Awesome, that's what I was hoping. I briefly looked through cryptonote_core to double check and it looks like you're right, transactions are checked for double spends before being added to the daemon pool :)
-
BusyBoredom[m]pigeons, that's OK, I just wanted to know that a trustworthy daemon won't knowingly include double spends in /get_transaction_pool results.
