bridgerton[m]<eli> You do but barely. You're leaving yourself vulnerable. The cexes will know they sent monero to each other if they decide to collude against their patrons either voluntarily or forced by a government. It's prudent to send to yourself, optionally churn any amount of times, and sending to another cex.

bridgerton[m]s/barely. You/you/

bridgerton[m]<eli> There's a name for the attack, it's mentioned in breaking monero

ingeAnyone tried to run a node with the entire blockchain in RAM?
-
selstaInge: should work with pruned node
-
Ingebut a pruned node isn't *as* useful as an unpruned one?
-
selstaInge: why?
-
selstait also works with an unpruned node but getting 40GB into RAM is easier than 120GB
-
Ingeselsta: I thought there would be some cases where the missing 7/8ths of block data was needed?
-
selstain normal usage, no

binaryFateGUI v0.17.3.1 binaries are now online, thank you to all contributors

bridgerton[m]I think this is the most appropriate channel for this
-
selstacoinbase won't touch monero
-
niocif 100% of the people responding chose Monero the result would be coinbase not listing it
-
niocall the comments are for ergo, whatever that is
-
lactase_naufraigselsta: trying can't hurt that bad...
-
lactase_naufraigeither way I have to accept that it's likely that CB isn't going to list monero
-
selstaat this point it's likely that blockchain analysis companies have lobbied against monero
-
selstait's not coincidence that all these exchanges list zcash but not monero
-
niocwe should start a blockchain analysis company
-
lactase_naufraigjust like people should lobby for changes
-
lactase_naufraigunless you get someone with funds to throw around it's unlikely that it'll make a change
