Is the transfer_split call atomic? I mean does the rpc server know to roll back the transfers when it has an error.
-
MexicanTakeout96
Don't mind this, I've solved this using transfer rpc call. Basically I was concern about tracking individual transfer when a tx_id can be shared with multiple transfers.

Interesting. Keep going :)

Your post could use some introductory explanations what thing you did there however, IMHO. Maybe including how it relates to already existing things, and where it innovates
-
rbrunner
Ah, I see now, you already added a comment.
-
benevanoff[m]
I updated the comment w a bit more info, lmk if anything else looks lacking. It’d be cool if somebody actually tried to follow the documentation and set it up to see what needs to be improved since I’m really hoping to have something that’s fairly easy to setup

ooo123ooo1234567
wow, one more web app for monero payments
-
ooo123ooo1234567
-
soiledcold[m]
It’s not the monero exchange itself, it’s good help fund the payment processor development, servers and the app fees
-
soiledcold[m]
(Servers are also directly linked to the exchange which is why it’s mentioned?
-
soiledcold[m]
s/?/)/

s/good/gonna/
-
ooo123ooo1234567
indeed, one more payment processor for one more exchange isn't a trivial thing to do
-
soiledcold[m]
That’s understandable ye, but we just need some help funding development and paying for the servers and other fees so that we can make it a full app on the App Store and play store
-
soiledcold[m]
(Will be a web version too ofc)
-
soiledcold[m]
The exchange part of the whole thing is just because the current servers and development comes from the exchange
-
soiledcold[m]
This also helps me with my Monero adoption plan in Punjab which I have been talking about often in the other Monero channel
-
soiledcold[m]
We have other thing in-stored like a way for larger businesses to take monero payments easily
-
analogHermit[m]
Hello - anyone here know if there are recordings of the talks from the Lisbon conference online yet? Probably too recent still?
-
plowsof[m]
there is a bit of a backlog of ccs ideas.. if you need funding asap fork this thing and make it pretty or use as-is, then shill to your hearts content

soiledcold[m]
Great, thanks for the help!

<soiledcold[m]> "That’s understandable ye, but we..." <- indeed, the most important component of successful app is another payment processor for monero
-
plowsof[m]
the more payment processors the more the "Monero Business kit" proposal becomes obsolete, so i guess there is some good in that
-
soiledcold[m]
True there have been a lot of payment processor apps but this one is meant to be used for both online sites and brick and mortar shops. Since I already have connections with many stores that already take crypto and use apps like the bitcoin cash register app it won’t be too hard to get them to use my app since it will be similar in function and use
-
plowsof[m]
or just let them use this point of sale
hotshop.onrender.com
-
soiledcold[m]
The only problem with that is that it’s not a mobile app, someone could just change the addy and it has a limit amount of currencies
-
soiledcold[m]
Like I said before this would mostly resemble the bitcoin cash register app
-
soiledcold[m]
Making it safer for the owner who is accepting monero
-
soiledcold[m]
soiledcold[m]: (The addy cant be changed if an acc is made on hotshop)
-
plowsof[m]
cryptogrampy Hotshop is not a mobile app?
-
soiledcold[m]
* on hotshop <- just to clear confusion)
-
soiledcold[m]
plowsof[m]: U sent me a website link
-
plowsof[m]
internet browser app? but, cryptogrampy has made a 'kiosk' version.. and an app version so he can shed some more light on it.
-
plowsof[m]
is your ccs for in-person purchases?
-
soiledcold[m]
plowsof[m]: That’s the goal yes!
-
soiledcold[m]
I am already in contact with some businesses in Brooklyn who are willing to take it for payment
-
soiledcold[m]
We also plan on adding a map site where you can spend monero irl, just maps.bitcoin.com
-
plowsof[m]
-
plowsof[m]
your only selling point would be 'adding monero into a multi crypto PoS app'
-
soiledcold[m]
plowsof[m]: Users get to decide what cryptos they want to accept
-
soiledcold[m]
Users = business owner
-
soiledcold[m]
This can be used for both online and retail businesses
-
plowsof[m]
for online retail multi crypto there is
cryptowoo.com
-
plowsof[m]
but 'in person' would be lacking
-
soiledcold[m]
plowsof[m]: Does this allow funds to be sent directly to your wallet or to an exchange acc?
-
ooo123ooo1234567
soiledcold[m]: did you try to read code of available alternatives ? are you a developer ?
-
soiledcold[m]
Our pos will let ppl send funds directly to their wallets or to the exchange itself to convert it
-
soiledcold[m]
ooo123ooo1234567: Yes I have, I don’t develop it solely I have a friend who does it with me
-
ooo123ooo1234567
just facepalm
-
plowsof[m]
the other services do charge a small fee as is expected, the selling point of Monero Business kit is that 'anyone' can simply put their viewkey in and have a shop (that is the idea anyway which makes it unique). there are options available, but, i see that your website is functional, and looks very pretty. im sure people will donate for 'monero integration' after seeing the selling points
