I lately came up with the idea of making a slight redesign of the getmonero.org page. But then the question came up in my head: is there really a need for a fancy website? My answer to this was: no. If a majority thinks, it would still be a good idea, I could make a proposal...

personally i like the current design and it's javascript free which is a requirement for the website

yes, but it's questionable how necessary a redesign is
