I’m having a hard time figuring out how to pay vendor. It’s not clear how to copy his address to my Monero-wallet-gui or if I’m suppose to transfer money to wallet on alphabay

I’ve tried for about an hour so I’m not being lazy

I have been using Monerujo and one of the transactions I made was confirmed in a block which was apparently part of the wrong side of the hard fork. I suppose the devs for the wallet should examine the issue, but I joined the room in case it's something that others might want to know about. The fork had blocks in it from 2688902 to 2688911 which were apparently mined over about 40 hours. The solution was to stop using the

remote nodes that received their last block more than an hour ago (ultimately, to start running your own node, but that takes a while to download) and connect to a node listed at monero.fail.

I think sync_info is best place to start.

If no blocks in queue = bad connection

If blocks in queue = slow verification or disk speed

these numbers are for more recent blocks, not from the beginning

The out vs in is just how the tunnel is made

If using the HDD, you should have a long list of queued blocks

... unless your internet is the issue, in which case that list should be short or nonexistent
