NorrinRaddthis is a FOSS community so: its my CCS idea up for discussion, but someone commented about what they feel the rates should be, so if someone feels they can do a better job for cheaper then , lets find that person

We talked a bit already and what im thinking would be best is 'telling your story' about why you got into crypto / care about privacy and perhaps seek support for writing some type of monero outreach things 'blog posts' and such directed at young people like yourself in similar situations. Personally i don't see the appeal in 'giving you money' to provide services (vpn's / front ends to youtube / emails and such) because we have those

services already, there needs to be a reason why we shld fund specifically you to host them ( other than supporting your hobby -> which is where producing blog posts / telling your story will help you )

There are people on the internet who will give you money / support your hobbies, but you need to tell your story / build a bit of a following

plowsof: CCS coordinator is a needed role, imo. Even if just to try and get community discussion around things, so that the community has a say in how the community/network develops. The only issue i personally have is that the whole gitlab integration confuses the fuck out of me. I honestly don't think I could do the role (even though an extra 300 euro a week would be very much welcome).

plowsof: not at all, I think it's generally required for someone to take the lead of the whole CCS process. Mainly to help Core, idea proposers/devs, and the community work together to improve the ecosystem in a relatively transparent and accountable manner. This means (from my perspective) offering social support (general corralling of people to get involved/stay involved/hit milestones/organise meetings), technical

support (help with the technicalities of creating a CCS for newcomers), and admin (ensuring payouts are correct, maintaining some sort of log/record/reporting system for the community, etc). Would probably take somewhere between 6-12 hours a week, I would of thought.
