random thought: a p2pool instance that donates x% to the general fund or some such
-
Lyza
not a dev tax, strictly voluntary, and who gets donations can evolce with miners migrating
-
nioc
back in the day almost all pools gave ~ 10% of their fee to the general fund
-
selenze[m]
that sounds good ideas. So
-
selenze[m]
I thought I have seen somewhere on the General fund 's view key.... but couldn't locate it ..
ccs.getmonero.org/donate

selenze[m]
took me a while to search...its in the main Git repo too.
-
selenze[m]
And what about for the CCS view wallet

Do you think this should have been posted together along with the CCS link at the homepage
-
selenze[m]
or should I inform to the web-developer who is maintaining it.
-
plowsof
you can make an issue to suggest something like that on the repo here
github.com/monero-project/monero-site/issues , the ccs keys should be displayed somewhere along with the gf
-
selenze[m]
sure.
-
plowsof
or ill just make it tomorrow for you if its not there, for you , needs some discussion on the 'simplest' place to put it (monero-site is not the easiest to deal with)
-
selenze[m]
yea...don't have github thusfar...
-
selenze[m]
just hinted to Ericicion a moment ago

That’s awesome! A happy Christmas is approaching

"For Monero, it uses h4sh3d's xmr atomic swap implementation. The exact atomic swap protocol used is per-coin."
-
nioc
so it is using farcaster which is still being worked on but is quite far along
-
monerobull[m]
They also apparently don't support making Monro offers yet?

kayabanerve[m]
<nioc> "so it is using farcaster which..." <- It's not. It's using the atomic swap protocol
-
nioc
I was assuming that farcaster was the atomic swap protocol
-
selsta
I think farcaster is an implementation of the protocol
-
nioc
with all the work being done on the implementation is seems at least as important as the protocol
-
kayabanerve[m]
<selsta> "I think farcaster is an implemen..." <- Exactly

nioc: Arguably

Is Torcaddor like changelly?
-
plowsof
they use exchange api from several different liquidity providers ( i assume theyre not using changelly because they're considered scammers round these parts ) with the benefit of being html only / tor friendly
-
aremor[m]
It has an API?
-
plowsof
was asked in their reddit thread and the response was 'theyre looking into it / soon' if i remember

<plowsof> "Morpheus" <- Hi
-
Morpheus[m]
<DanIsnotthemanBr> "Is Torcaddor like changelly?" <- Trocador is like booking.com for crypto. Instead of going to the exchange website to get rates one by one, you quote there all at the same time
-
Morpheus[m]
But with the advantage of it being accessible over TOR for enhanced privacy
-
Morpheus[m]
You can process the whole trade on our website, never touching the chosen exchange
-
Morpheus[m]
<aremor[m]> "It has an API?" <- Yes, we are building the API, it will be ready by the end of the month and will be accessible over TOR
-

Curious when css proposals get fund is there time frames given on each milestone they need to meet?
