That's almost 10 years for subscribers to die off or fade off reddit not even factoring for visibility issues stemming from karma system. Clear majority of comments which aren't bots voiced support. Wasn't any resistance here in -community either. Plenty of other sources of knowledge like Monero's StackExchange and GetMonero itself.

ofrnxmr[m]: Yes now cache + LMDB support makes it takes ~100 milliseconds to fetch instead of 20+ seconds

Once (if?) feature gets stabilized, I plan on later adding a RCT distribution wallet-side cache so all get_output_distribution calls are much faster

The data is 99.9% static and takes up a couple MBs so its a perfect candidate for caching client-side
