<fengzie:matrix.org> Hi, we've just posted a proposal in CCS. Please review and comment if you have interest. Thanks!

I made a suggestion of looking at the haveno fromt end ccs / ask the community what we think about repurposing the remaining funds for this new team who perhaps have more plus points the previous one who have abandoned us.
-
plowsof
Also linked a reddit comment from rbrunner who added monero payments to ob2 but this is ob3

m-relay
<syntheticbird:monero.social> where?
-
m-relay
<syntheticbird:monero.social> I didn't see any comments about a new team
-
m-relay
<syntheticbird:monero.social> nvm I found it

<321bob321:monero.social> Same thing has doug’s project?
-
m-relay
<321bob321:monero.social> as*
-
m-relay
<someoneelse495495:matrix.org> 12 hours later, and matrix.org still didn't synced messages
-
nioCat
but they said that federation is the answer
-
m-relay
<xmrfamily:matrix.org> No messages for 12 hours normal?
-
m-relay
<shortwavesurfer2009:monero.social> Cloudflare shitware
-
m-relay
<syntheticbird:monero.social> shitflare cloudware?
-
m-relay
<someoneelse495495:matrix.org> no. There has been messages on monero.social side. It just didn't synced yet
-
m-relay
<tisktisk:xmr.mx> Niocat do you take an anti-federation position? Or are you just saying federated tools are non solutions?
-
nioCat
I am just poking
-
m-relay
<elias:dfri.se> federation works great, note that while the matrix.org instance had problems other people could still use matrix just fine, as long as they used other instances
-
nioCat
it's working fine except for the fact that communication here is quite disrupted and having meetings is problematic
-
nioCat
people are just using it as designed
-
m-relay
<plowsof:matrix.org> Fengzie Yang: #haveno:monero.social and #haveno-dev:haveno.network to make contact with woodser the lead back end dev to discuss the possibility of taking over / finishing the front end ui dev where the previous team left off

<321bob321:monero.social> Lol
-
m-relay
-
m-relay
<321bob321:monero.social> Lol has worse milestones then ofrn’s one
-
m-relay
<sgp_:monero.social> Well, at least no payouts occurred, and the money can be used for something else
-
m-relay
<321bob321:monero.social> I wish there was more pushback on that as much as ofrns one
-
plowsof
it looked like half had been paid out if i take what i see before me as gospel
-
m-relay
<sgp_:monero.social> Fwiw, I was one of the main people adding comments there in caution of that CCS
-
m-relay
<sgp_:monero.social> the "Council" made no sense to me at all and I had major execution concerns mostly from that
-
plowsof
now that the jedi council is disolved, and this recent ccs proposal from a react / mobile web team was made, if their skill set is applicable (seems to be) then why not let em finish the thing
-
m-relay
<321bob321:monero.social> As long as the table is round
-
m-relay
-
m-relay
<321bob321:monero.social> Round means were all equal
-
m-relay
<sgp_:monero.social> screening isn't meant to prevent _all_ risks in my opinion. Then nothing would get moved. But filtering can make sure crap won't be moved. And some people are more conservative than others on some things in particular

<321bob321:monero.social> Rip blockchain history

m-relay
<321bob321:monero.social> Can i be alderman of the council?
-
m-relay
<sgp_:monero.social> fair enough, I couldn't fully predict that the project would be abandoned
-
m-relay
<321bob321:monero.social> I accept bribes
-
plowsof
thanks ct, yes approx half remains
-
m-relay
<ct:xmr.mx> seems like 302xmr were received and used 🤔
-
m-relay
<sgp_:monero.social> if aproject is abandoned the funds should be moved to something else
-
m-relay
<321bob321:monero.social> For nginx front end
-
m-relay
<ct:xmr.mx> thanks for confirming plowsof
-
m-relay
<rottenwheel:kernal.eu> Hmm, where's the frontend repository or work completed for that money?
-
m-relay
<321bob321:monero.social> Send rest of funds to dan to continue homelab addiction issue
-
m-relay
<sgp_:monero.social> did woodser ever comment on how that was used?
-
m-relay
<rottenwheel:kernal.eu> woodser ^^
-
m-relay
-
m-relay
<sgp_:monero.social> looks like they paid some unnamed dev company. Always a good sign
-
m-relay
<sgp_:monero.social> looks like something called "Viabl Ventures"
-
plowsof

plowsof
They where just contractors who expected fiat no harm done. Its probably for the best it was delayed. I can only imagine if it launched with the fee structure what could have happened to the jedi council
-
m-relay
<woodser:monero.social> a functional ui was started:

<syntheticbird:monero.social> I'm starving for such responsive UI
