I wasn't talking about paying for streams (though as far as understand, people do that as well), i was contemplating becoming an adult streamer, and the corresponding decision about the platform on which i would stream. I think chainanalysis (and similar) hire quite a few consultants for their R and D work.

Obviously the ones that know the protocols and cryptographic primitives best, are the most in demand by those sorts of companies.

They pay well, i would imagine. For some it might be difficult to turn down the work.
