<h​into:monero.social> binaryFate: I believe Boog should be and remain funded, I'd also like if 2/3 of my milestones were allocated to them instead. I will use the remaining month to finish the remaining obligations I have. I would think that makes the decision to support Cuprate easier, which I think is clearly in the best interests of Monero long-term.

<h​into:monero.social> I would deem it fundamental as it is building the Rust libraries that will inevitably be used in the future (both by the ecosystem and Monero itself), along with everything else jberman mentioned.

I think certain work leading up to / in-between "core" work doesn't nearly have the wide appetite compared to e.g crypto or maintenance of `monerod`; that type of work will probably only be funded when certain systems become too impractical or if sponsored by another group.
