br-m<entropyhoover:matrix.org> May I know why the simple mode only connects to one node only? Is there any reason for not using multiple nodes for fetching data in parallel?

br-m<rbrunner7> @entropyhoover:matrix.org: I think the main reason why wallet sync does not fetch data from several daemons in parallel is that nobody has implemented that, and I think it could also turn out to be quite complex to do correctly and watertight.

br-m<tobtoht> StageX images are x86_64 only. I think there are plans to add ARM64. > <@vtnerd> @tobtoht:monero.social: isnt stagex x86-64 only though? Or is that changing soon? I had a patch to make lws stagex compliant but stopped because of that

br-m<tobtoht> Monero release builds are cross-compiled and participants in the reproducible builds process are expected to use a x86_64 machine, so this isn't an issue.
-
br-m<tobtoht> It was possible to cross-compile from different architectures to a common target and get identical hashes using Guix before Rust was added.
-
br-m<tobtoht> One for monerod also exists in the main repo: github.com/monero-project/monero/blob/master/Dockerfile > <@vtnerd> Also I have a docker build that is stagex compliant here : github.com/monero-lws/containers
