mj-xmr[m]selsta: Yes, though it seems I have to resynch my node, because the testnet is needed here. Also the Haven's testnet has trouble synchronizing here. I can only believe, that their tests work.
-
selstaI'm quite sure that testnet isn't needed.
-
selstaI ran it locally without a synced testnet node.

mj-xmr[m]> Running monero node, linked to private/public testnet. By default, tests expect daemon running at localhost:38081
-
mj-xmr[m]I ran it as well, but the output mentioned being unable to connect to daemon.
-
selstait runs a private testnet
-
mj-xmr[m]Do you mean, that the test starts the daemon as a sub-process?
-
mj-xmr[m]Because if this is the case, then Haven's wallet tests behave (and segfault) the same way as Monero's
-
mj-xmr[m]Perhaps I should have first taken a closer look here:

selstaI don't know :D I just remember running these tests locally and I have a testnet synced
-
selstaI don't have*
-
mj-xmr[m]It's alright. It's about freakin' time that I set it all up properly anyway :)
-
selstaI'll let you try before I give you wrong info
-
mj-xmr[m]I start seeing where the problem is: our wallet scripts are outdated.
-
mj-xmr[m]And it's a bit complicated in general. It could be simplified just like the gitian scripts.
-
mj-xmr[m]I see also that even Haven has some small typos.
-
mj-xmr[m]I'll fix it here and let'em know.
-
mj-xmr[m]I'm making progress in the libwallet_api_tests. I fixed the scripts and can carry on with actually fixing the tests.

mj-xmr[m]Preparing the environment is a quite a butchery, but a useful skill set nevertheless.
