Looking at the backlog, is your question "can Eve tell I'm a repeat customer" basically ?

If so, if you repeatedly include in your rings to Eve the change Eve sent you back, then she cannot know for sure, but it's pretty good circumstancial evidence.

Especially if the change is old.

If the second customer were a random other person, you'd expect the rings to be composed of outputs taken on the chain with the appropriate gamma distribution.

So the chances that an output Eve sent you are not huge, but quite possible, especially if the change output is new.

If you do this repeatedly, the probabiliyt of it being just chance decreases.

For this reason, the wallet should try to avoid sending back change from another send to the same address. It does not do this currently, and I never got around to it.

It isn't clear churning is good. In some cases, it is actually worse than nothing AFAIK. So since it also spams the chain, it's not sure we actually want it.

But I've worked on preventing sending change back to the same recipient, I'll PR that soon.

Only a single level, it could do more but it gets more complicated, so it can be improved later.
