teddy74i[m]Hello and best wishes to you all. A quick question from a beginner to Monero gui wallet. I was able to set up GUI wallet and use it through the Trezor Model T. The set up was working great. Had not opened the wallet for a month and when I recently tried to open it I could not get past the second password requirement (which asks for the Trezor device password, the XMR GUI password is accepted). Getting an error message "Couldn't open

teddy74i[m]wallet cannot get a device address. I've turned off all anti virus programs, even tried outside VPN. No luck. Has anyone encountered this problem or have any suggestions? Thanks so much

selstateddy74i[m]: so one month ago everything was working fine?
-
selstadid you change anything trezor related in the meantime
-
teddy74i[m]yes,I think there was a firmware upgrade on the trezor. EVerything else is as before. I triple checked passwords, those seem correct. The Trezor password opens the wallet on Trezor suite but the monero gui wallet won't open
-
selstateddy74i[m]: is it possible that you entered an incorrect passphrase?
-
selstaand can you add a screenshot?
-
selstato the github issue
-
teddy74i[m]I suppose it is possible but the likelihod is very Low as the password is taken from the same note book I have been using all along. OK yes I will add a screenshot soon. I really, really appreciate your replies selsta. I don't want to lose the funds.

selstaalso just to confirm, you know that the wallet password and passphrase are separate things? and it's possible that you have to enter a password but also an empty passphrase?
-
selstafor example some people enter their password twice
-
selstawhich causes the trezor to open an incorrect wallet
