m-relay<neospal2:matrix.org> I am new to Monero and am having trouble getting the node set up in my wallet. I have been working with Monero support and they mentioned contacting Monero GUI. Below is a copy of my recent interaction with support. can you offer any comment on my issue? Thank you

m-relay<neospal2:matrix.org> My node times out after 120 seconds and will not start. I am trying to load the block chain to my local node, which I assume to be in my Home dirctory on my HDD. I have installed a SSD on my computer and need to direct the blochchain download to that new drive. The SSD is empty and is designated as 1TBI under my Files listing. I assume that I need to create a folder within 1TBl t<clipped message>

m-relay<neospal2:matrix.org> o accept the blockchain down load. I have created an emptyfolder within 1TBl entitled "Monero Home". When I select this new location as the local node for my blockchain download my node still will not start. Is there a step I am missing? Should this new location for my node be listed as a 'Remote Node' rather that a 'Local Node'?
