I know this isn't the place for price talk, but from what I've seen, BotNets don't have an effect on price, price has an effect on botnets.

Botnets pretty much only have an effect on miners. If everyone and their grandmother was mining XMR, then it wouldn't directly have an effect on the price, but the price would go up as there would be interest in XMR and therefore traders would start throwing it around like candy
