This is blocking the deploy of v0.18.2.2 as the hashes cannot be verified (job waiting forever for a runner to pick it)

ah yes, well, we need to use checkout@v3 also

but its not vital right now, just some warnings that it will eventually break

i think newer ubuntu has different default packages

I think the apt package should be python3-pip, not python-pip

just running a workflow with that now, hopefully

no idea why the issue with irc it's happening again. The setting that avoid people from irc having their first message dropped seem to be resetting itself. If it happens again i'll contact matrix people because there is probably be a bug somewhere on their side.

it's fixed for now at least
