<321bob321:monero.social> You'd need another category for multi-coin wallets then
-
m-relay
<vikrants:monero.social> That’s a good idea

<redsh4de:matrix.org> Thats the plan, later gonna move the content for pages with dynamic data into a library file that runs on build time and fills in the page with versions, translations etc
-
m-relay
<vikrants:monero.social> Let’s do this
-
m-relay
<coinwalletapp:matrix.org> so what's the problem? Just state that we charge a fee (I've said it three times already) The wallet works, there are no issues. Let there be a new category, no issues
-
m-relay
<coinwalletapp:matrix.org> we see that you're adding wallets that weren't there before, so we're suggesting it. Whether they've gone through the review or not, we don't know
-
m-relay
<redsh4de:matrix.org> fwiw i do like having the monero-only / multi-coin wallet seperation, gives a reason to specify which ones have a built-in exchange to signal to new people which ones let you buy Monero

<vikrants:monero.social> Looks great!
-
m-relay
<redsh4de:matrix.org> this is still just a prototype in any case. Final content that would go in the page would be decided by a workgroup. my improvisation here is just for visualization/experimenting, its still in question if my redesign project would even be integrated

m-relay
<vikrants:monero.social> I like the little icons showing what platform each wallet is on. Can we add a third row of icons showing which hardware/offline wallet each wallet supports ?
-
m-relay
<vikrants:monero.social> But maybe that’s too much info
-
m-relay
<vikrants:monero.social> Just thinking out loud
-
m-relay
<redsh4de:matrix.org> Yeah i had added small trezor/ledger etc icons before but it ended up looking too "much", i figure a good way to keep it clean is to specify that it supports hardware wallets in the description, and then the user can click on the "Visit website" link where the supported hardware wallets seem to be specified anyway
-
m-relay
<vikrants:monero.social> Ok yeah.Would be cluttered.

<syntheticbird:monero.social> I want him in core

so currently, "monero dot com wallet" is displayed and the hyperlink takes people to >cakewallet dot com. after discussions here this is unacceptable with calls for both to be listed. to address 'astroturfing' concerns (which adding a Monero-only and Multi-coin section does not), the wallets could be displayed in-line, e.g. "CakeWallet <XMR Only /

<Multi-Coin>" - it doesnt look great though:
