The way Monerujo shows transactions and allows overt, explicit management of addresses is *really* nice. I hear Cake is supposed to do at least some of that, but it seems to be broken on Android if so.

I do like Cake's license more, though.

Hello, I am trying to restore a wallet on Android... I have a 14 word seed, but it only had an option for a 25 word seed. Can anyone help?

that's probably a seed from Feather wallet. Install it and try to restore there

IIRC you can ask feather to give you a full seed.

Otherwise you'll have to use the raw secret keys.

you should be able to convert 14 words to secret key, but do it offline. or maybe if monerujo supports 14 words, recover it with that and transfer the funds to exodus if that suits your backup methodology.

Yes, but the reason I'm even asking and not just using the private key is because I don't have a laptop or computer at all right now for a couple days

No I have 14 word, I was correcting because I said they only take 24 word but meant 25, sorry for confusion

For the record, 24 and 25 are the same, the last word is an optional sanity check.

i was looking at exodus wallet for a minute while researching what wallets people are using nowadays... i saw that they advertise it as being "mostly" open source... the screenshots look nice and the feature list looks nice but mostly open source != open source... thats a deal breaker for me

Whats is exact difference with Sweep_all and Sweep_single functions? I splitted %90 of total amount and i want to send what has been left on the wallet. Which is suitable for me?

The former uses all unspent outs, the latter uses just one.

They're the same if you have just one output in your wallet.

sweep_all sends all xmr on account regardless of given subaddr_indices. So what is the purpose of subaddr_indices parametres here?

I created my monero account many years ago. I'm unable to use it with the monero app because the monero app won't let me use my passphrase with it. It only lets me create new accounts which is not what I want to do. The app from mymonero works with my old account just fine. Is there some way to import my old account into the official monero app?

Also the Monero app hangs on exit ... "closing wallet" for 20+ minutes

there's address, receive, send. No private view key or private spend key. An option to export past transactions to CSV.
