I have a tx with 9 confirmations but it still doesn't show in my wallet

what happens if the fees on a tx are too low and nobody wants to process it

will the GUI automatically allow me to start spending again after some time?

or do I have to force it somehow

it will age out after a long time. I forget how long, more than 24hrs

if fees are too low nodes will not even include it into the mempool

the fee might have been sufficient when tx was created

try "flush_txpool", and let it recreate itself.

That looks like a bug in the txpool code somehow.

I guess I miss the "ssd" flag on my root

but it's not the only way to check for ssd

mawk: the estimate time algorithm is quite simple so it works better when only syncing a couple days or weeks worth of blocks
