<rymdlord:matrix.org> Ok I bought from local monero and there seems to be a problem with the transaction to my monjuro wallet
-
m-relay
<rymdlord:matrix.org> I have done all the thing you mentioned to.
-
m-relay
<rymdlord:matrix.org> XMR blocks shows me 2 lines in the Address section. One that is my wallet and one I can't find a reference to
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> Xmr blocks?
-
m-relay
<rymdlord:matrix.org> Block chain explorer
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> I dont know what that is.
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> what youre supposed to be looking at is localmonero's trade chat page
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> Don't
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> what youre supposed to be looking at is localmonero's trade chat page
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> Look at the localmonero trade chat page. It should show the correct address in the "payment details"
-
m-relay
<rymdlord:matrix.org> It seems to be a problem on my side. Because the transaction is proven and its to the right subadress. I have tried updating and my wallet is OK there and I have tried LTE and WiFi and different nodes.
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> what does your wallet show?
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> Fully synchronized?
-
m-relay
<rymdlord:matrix.org> Yep but no balance
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> Try this node
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> node.monerodevs.org
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> port 18089
-
m-relay
<rymdlord:matrix.org> Connection error
-
m-relay
<rymdlord:matrix.org> Done
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> Connectionn error?
-
m-relay
<rymdlord:matrix.org> Yes. After I did it all other nodes said the same and after a restart it says it is connected
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> When you open wallet, does it still show syncronized?
-
m-relay
<rymdlord:matrix.org> Could it be a good idea to wipe the app and then restore the wallet? Yes
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> If so: open wallet > menu > rescan
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> Let it sync again and report back
-
m-relay
<rymdlord:matrix.org> Nothing. It does the scan takes a sec doing it and then reports the same 0 xmr
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> Ok. Do you have a copy of your seed?
-
m-relay
<rymdlord:matrix.org> Yes, and restore hight
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> Ok. Feel free to wipe the apps data, or to reinstall
-
m-relay
<rymdlord:matrix.org> U sure? Even if that XMR was sent to a sub address?
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> Then restore again. Use a restore height of 2948000
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> Yes
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> If you feel unsure, you can use monerujo to restore a "second" wallet
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> Use the same seed, just give the wallet a different name
-
m-relay
<rymdlord:matrix.org> So not my "normal" restore hight
-
m-relay
<rymdlord:matrix.org> Ok
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> can you share what you havent written down for your restore height?
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> (i chose 2948000 because it should capture any transactions from within the last 2-3 days)
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> can you share what you have written down for your restore height?
-
m-relay
<rymdlord:matrix.org> My restore tight is 28834431
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> Theres your problem
-
m-relay
<rymdlord:matrix.org> I restored and synced. Nothing
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> did you use the restore height i gave you?
-
m-relay
<rymdlord:matrix.org> Yes
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> Doesnt sound right.
-
m-relay
<rymdlord:matrix.org> TF noe
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> Please confirm step 1
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> Localmonero shows the correct address?
-
m-relay
<rymdlord:matrix.org> Thank you! It lied that it had finished syncing
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> Showing now?
-
m-relay
<rymdlord:matrix.org> Yep thank you! What was the problem? Was it that because I had a low restore hight it was scanning alllllot of stuff and thats why it didn't appear but when it was closer it found it faster?
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> You had a restore height 1 digit too many (too high aka in the future)
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> Either
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> a) it was trying to restore in the future
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> b) it waa scanning from block 1 (in which case it shouldnt show syncronized, but a very large number of blocks remaining)
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> Either
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> a) it was trying to restore in the future
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> b) it waa scanning from block 1 (in which case it shouldnt show `synchronized`, but would show very large number of blocks remaining)
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:monero.social> re b: monerujo had/has an issue when its syncing in the background, it showed/shows synchronized for a few seconds after returning monerujo to the foreground.
-
m-relay
