i think the idea (well, an idea) of kovri was eventually baking into monero, so that everyone who runs a monero node would be running an i2p node

because the problem with those networks is they are slow, and they are slow because not enough people run the nodes

i wonder if it'd be good to start another "cycle" as it were, where a hardfork happens every n months, so that the ecosystem gets practice in preparation for seraphis

Is there any workaround for slow sync on cake? I'm running my own pseudo-public node (inside a Wireguard mesh) which my phone is syncing from and it's still not syncing more than ~100 blocks/sec

cake has never worked for me so i think cake is just bad

can anyone help me with this fatal error I'm getting: "Exception in main! Failed to initialize p2p server", I am trying to setup p2pool according to git readme instructions and can't even get monerod to run with 'zmq-pub' set. I am using v0.18.3.1-release in a docker container
