m-relay<9_11_01> you mean spamming 1 cent transactions at someone?
-
m-relay<9_11_01> but wont that be a higher fee than the total value of each utxo
-
m-relay<9_11_01> basically you can flood someone's wallet with utxo's right
-
m-relay<unkn8wn69:matrix.org> And so, whats his disadvantage with being spammed? He doesn't need to care
-
m-relay<unkn8wn69:matrix.org> He can freeze the utxo's so they won't be in following transactions
-
m-relay<unkn8wn69:matrix.org> Or consolidate them
-
m-relay<unkn8wn69:matrix.org> Probably annoying but no real world harm ig

plowsofI lost my keys in a boating accident -> but you combined all the dust we sent you 10 minutes ago -> mermaids

Inge9_11_01: This is true for all utxo-based cryptos I guess. But you still need to know their address. And there are tools like the official CLI wallet that has a sweep_below command to sweep a bunch of small utxo's
-
m-relay<unkn8wn69:matrix.org> Didnt know about sweep below, very cool!
-
m-relay<xfedex:matrix.org> in case anybody here is interested, i've published a mining pool implementation for cryptonote and monero with PPLNS payout, it uses a lot less memory than the nodejs pool. you can read more here reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/1906lb…_monerocryptonote_mining_pool_enjoy
