m-relay
<monerobull:matrix.org> doesnt matter, if it looks bad, it will get your account shut down
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> No. The redemption requires email, 2fa, sometimes a captcha
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> if you purchased them in bulk, probably?

<bb3883:matrix.org> throw out some ideas friends
-
m-relay
<siren:kernal.eu> Start operating a Monero mixer on Tor that occasionally "bugs out" and doesn't send the funds back. Either way you take a service fee.
-
m-relay
<bb3883:matrix.org> who’s mixing monero? the entire point is it doesn’t need mixing 😫
-
moneromooo
load, wallet, then run: set unit millinero
-
moneromooo
Then run: balance

moneromooo
Enjoy.

m-relay
<bb3883:matrix.org> an exchange would be profitable but i don’t have the funds to supply such a thing
-
m-relay
<bb3883:matrix.org> i think coinbank made like $100k before they exit scammed
-
m-relay
<bb3883:matrix.org> very stupid because they could’ve remained legitimate and made much more
-
m-relay
<bb3883:matrix.org> it’s very beautiful any one can become a millionaire doing these things though

m-relay
<bb3883:matrix.org> time to go random generate seed phrases and see if i hit a millionaire wallet, i think my chances are slightly better than the powerball, we will see

m-relay
<eaeattack:matrix.org> I did a question about AEA attack in research longue, but I'm going to ask also here in case someone knows the answer,
-
m-relay
<eaeattack:matrix.org> a teoric configuration like this for an individual would fix it / mitigate it? or would generate other issues? doesn't matter if it's overkill:
-
m-relay
<eaeattack:matrix.org> 1)Bob buy money from KYC, the exchange sends money to wallet A,
-
m-relay
<eaeattack:matrix.org> 2)A send all the funds to wallet B,
-
m-relay
<eaeattack:matrix.org> 3)B sends a random complementary sum of the funds to C and D (example can be 30% and 70%),
-
m-relay
<eaeattack:matrix.org> 4)C and D make 3 random transactions between each other,
-
m-relay
<eaeattack:matrix.org> 5)C and D split the money in complementary sum between E, F, G
-
m-relay
<eaeattack:matrix.org> the 2) step have the purpose of increasing how many times first spending output is used, but a derived issue may be that this way if every time A receive money send them all to B, it's possible to link A to B, is this possible?
-
m-relay
<eaeattack:matrix.org> always using only new sub address only one time
-
m-relay
<monerobull:matrix.org> It would be very hard to link these
-
m-relay
<monerobull:matrix.org> Subaddress doesn't matter since you're using a stealth address anyways
-
m-relay
<monerobull:matrix.org> If you want to prevent linking coins between C & D, use accounts instead of subaddresses
-
m-relay
<eaeattack:matrix.org> it would be better or worse to divide the transaction from A to B in 2 transactions?
-
m-relay
<eaeattack:matrix.org> can you please explain better this passage? would you mean generating a total amount of 3 accounts each time or re-using 3 accounts, also this parse a problem for sending a complementary sum to EFG as now the money are already divided in more than 2 accounts
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> There will always be a direct path from the incoming E transaction to outgoing E transaction
-
spiffyhippo
hi - i have some machines with 64cores of EPYC CPUs and 512gb RAM running ubuntu. i enabled 1gb pages and have xmrig leveraging max threads. is there anything else i should/can do to make xmrig maximize its util of the hardware?
-
spiffyhippo
getting about 25kh/s on average rn
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> xmrig.com/benchmark
-
spiffyhippo
ty
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> Compare there
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> Note that the top scores for your system might be multiple cpu's, or running inefficient (high power) setups just to get the top rank
-
spiffyhippo
so lots of ram/high perf RAM doesn't really affect the algo much?
-
nioCat
ram does, latency is at least as important as speed
-
nioCat
and more than just the primary timings
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> Lots of ram, no. Just as much as need to be used. 512gb ram isnt faster better than 8gb
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> Or* better
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> Someone did some tests to find optimal mining setups and concluded that (iirc) 2x4gb CL-something ram was slightly faster than 2x8gb
-
m-relay
<recanman:kernal.eu> I'm sure multi-channel servers will be faster
-
m-relay
<recanman:kernal.eu> i.e more than dual or quad-channel
