DataHoarder
I have added direct Proof verification (from monero coinbase verification) to
qubic-snooper.p2pool.observer/tree ; This currently works with either disclosed pools view keys or disclosed tx private keys for each coinbase tx. Proof is shown and can be clicked to get a full proof in an explorer.
-
DataHoarder
Current pools: P2Pool (all public), MoneroOcean, Qubic (delayed one week). If any other pool wants to disclose their view keys they can be added, otherwise the matching is done via their public APIs and taken at face value (but not verified)

<kevino:tchncs.de> Nice !! Whoever created this website
-
DataHoarder
it's a me
-
br-m
<kevino:tchncs.de> Ohh cool !!
-
br-m
<kevino:tchncs.de> Very informative π
-
br-m
<kevino:tchncs.de> What does "Proof unavailable" means ?
-
br-m
<datahoarder> > β Proof Unavailable: Red bordered blocks don't pass any available view keys or other proofs and can't confirm ownership. This can be due to owner rotating keys and not publicly providing new view keys, or an impostor.
-
br-m
<datahoarder> In case of Qubic, proofs are delayed a week due to their own personal choices
-
br-m
<kevino:tchncs.de> Ohh
-
br-m
<datahoarder> If you scroll to the end of the page, you can see some of them verifying (they made the view keys available Wednesday)
-
br-m
<kevino:tchncs.de> So its similar to monerocensus info by rucknim ?
-
br-m
<datahoarder> Inspired by, but output is SVG plus shows active work done by qubic and more details
-
br-m
<datahoarder> it uses a similar data source for tagging, which rucknium used, which I wrote :)
-
br-m
<datahoarder> and this should also not fall down when there's many visitors, it's cached+regenerated every 15 seconds or so
-
br-m
<kevino:tchncs.de> Yeah svg helps in better visualisation
-
br-m
-
br-m
<kevino:tchncs.de> @datahoarder: Whats this
-
br-m
<datahoarder> For example, Qubic has two blocks here undisclosed for selfish mining that they may try to use against someone mining a block
-
br-m
<datahoarder> They are mining these "in secret"
-
br-m
<datahoarder> @kevino:tchncs.de: And you can click links!
-
br-m
<kevino:tchncs.de> @datahoarder: If they don't disclose blocks , then does rest of the miners ise alternate height till quibic finally discloses one ?
-
br-m
<kevino:tchncs.de> Use*
-
br-m
<datahoarder> They mine normally
-
br-m
<datahoarder> Qubic "disclosing" a longer chain causes the orphaning
-
br-m
<kevino:tchncs.de> Yeah, thats when reorgs happen right ?
-
br-m
<kevino:tchncs.de> I don't understand it very cleary though π
-
br-m
-
br-m
<datahoarder> Example, SXMR mined '18, then qubic released '18 + '19 which orphaned their block
-
br-m
<datahoarder> can also happen other way around and Qubic loses their selfish blocks
-
br-m
<kevino:tchncs.de> Ohh i see
-
br-m
<datahoarder> > Canonical chain shown to the left, orphan or alternate blocks are shown on the right. Links denote parent blocks.
-
br-m
<kevino:tchncs.de> If they don't disclose blocks , how do we know they found the 18th block before SXMR ?
-
br-m
<kevino:tchncs.de> Anybody could theoretically take longer time for 18th block and shorter time for 19th , and try to orphan last 2 blocks ?
-
br-m
<datahoarder> They don't control how long they mine, it's a random process
-
br-m
<datahoarder> @kevino:tchncs.de: They mine on public stratum which shows they are working on unpublished work. Some of these get published later on by digging into remote monero nodes
-
br-m
<kevino:tchncs.de> What does "8 blocks of uncontested chain omitted" mean ?
-
br-m
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> It means that there were 0 alt blocks seen for those blocks
-
br-m
<kevino:tchncs.de> I see
-
br-m
-
br-m
-
br-m
<kevino:tchncs.de> @ofrnxmr:xmr.mx: ^^ these are uncontested blocks too right ?
-
br-m
<albertlarsan68:albertlarsan.fr> It always shows the few latest blocks before hiding them if they are uncontested
-
br-m
<kevino:tchncs.de> Ohh this makes more sense π
-
br-m
<albertlarsan68:albertlarsan.fr> They will disappear un the yellow box if they are not contested
-
br-m
<kevino:tchncs.de> Okay !!
-
br-m
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> @kevino:tchncs.de: Yea

<captaincanaryllc:captaincanarynode.org> I want to max out my vps monero node in terms of connections and bandwidth served to the network. When set unlimited connections (-1) it crashed within a day. Specs are 16vcores, 16gb vram, debian 12 and a 210gb nvme with a pruned node running. Internet is 10gbps connection, unlimited otherwise

<kevino:tchncs.de> I don't purchase anything proton , sorry
