<jeffro256> Carrot addresses are computationally indistinguishable from legacy addresses to external observers, so wallet code must interact with them the exact same way. AFAIK, there shouldn't be any end user changes besides performance differences

<jeffro256> That goes into effect if you would upgrade to a new Carrot-derived seed / wallet. Hardware wallets may implement hybrid keyed accounts, where you get the benefits of e.g. OVKs without manual user intervention. It remains to be seen which features will be ready by different vendors at launch time.
