<0xfffc> anybody is aware why registration has been disabled on monero.social?
-
nioc
AKAIK it has been disabled for a long time now due to bad/spam accounts signing up
-
nioc
not sure of the recent status
-
BlueyHealer
I assumed it's due to age verification laws or something...
-
br-m
<gan:skhron.org> monero.social is hosted at Hetzner, at their Finland datacentre, so there's no such laws (yet)
-
BlueyHealer
Ah, good to know!

chiselfuse
how can i estimate the amount of xmr i can make from mining in a decent pool with this cpu
xmrig.com/benchmark?cpu=AMD+Ryzen+5+3600XT+6-Core+Processor
-
Cindy
chiselfuse: p2pool has a hashrate calculato
-
Cindy

-
Cindy
of monero, yeah
-
chiselfuse

-
chiselfuse
i wish i could profit out of mining it
-
chiselfuse

<gzx:metropolis.nexus> we do it for the love of the game
-
Cindy
also it's a easy way to get monero
-
Cindy
to get SOME, at least
-
Cindy
you think moneros just magically appear? :P
-
Cindy
mining is how new XMR gets pumped into the economy and circulate around
-

<eddie:oblak.be> Cindy: So used to fiat money that magically appears
-
Cindy
most new shitcoins have that kind of design nowadays
-
Cindy
the creators make billions of their tokens magically appear (they call it pre-minting or whatever)

vtnerd do you think it is possible for get_address_info or/and get_address_txs endpoints to not return unlock balance until sub receive spend key images?
-
johny_
vtnerd it has been few days I am trying to solve my issue but you seem to believe there are no issue :-/ I am not cpp dev so it is hard for me to fix the code. Btw why cpp? there are so many cve because of cpp code
-
Cindy
go use cuprate if you have a problem
-
Cindy
the C++ code is fine
-
johny_
cuprate?
-
Cindy
rust implementation of the monero consenus
-
Cindy
and stuff
-
johny_
ok if Cindy says it is fine then it is fine
-
johny_
Cindy did you understand the issue that plowsof and I have with monero-lws?
-
Cindy
is it about the outputs not being able to be spent?
-
Cindy
i mean.. unlocked
-
johny_
yes, it takes lots of time to be able to spend the funds after tx is confirmed so it makes issue in the UI
-
br-m
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> How much is a lot of time?
-
br-m
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> Normal = 20 confirmations
-
johny_
time is random, sometimes I can spend it 1 min after sometimes it could be 30min
-
johny_
20? i got it confirmed in the UI after 10
-
br-m
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> Sorry
-
br-m
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> 10 confirmations, 20mins*

<vtnerd> I'm not sure what you want. Everything is synced atomically via lmdb at regular block intervals. When a key image is possibly spent it is recorded in the same block as any received > <johny_> vtnerd do you think it is possible for get_address_info or/and get_address_txs endpoints to not return unlock balance until sub receive spend key images?
-
johny_
vtnerd maybe you can just try yourself mymonero-web-js with monero-lws and you will see what I mean, I am not doing anything special
