The Monero GUI is getting 'Scan Transaction' finally thanks to selsta (scan_tx in the cli wallet). IMO this is a huge step forward for tech support issues, and opens the door for other ideas (at the moment, just 1 txid is accepted at a time in the GUI) (other future use cases can include restoring a wallet quickly if you have a full list of txids in/out... gifting a wallet with view/spend key + txid of the gift tx). Basically, your

GuruJi[m]: It's not atomic swaps. Funds are held in a multisig, as plowsof quoted, so it technically is custodial. Just decentralized custody with non-cryptographic security, but that is lesser than cryptographic security. It's why I ack atomic swaps, recommend them for large OTC trades, and still write infra for them.
