<monerobull:matrix.org> Once you exceed the above limit, a KYC process is required. After the first successful transaction, there is an option in the app to complete the personal verification (KYC). If the KYC is not completed after exceeding the limit, DFX will automatically return the transaction after 7 days.
-
m-relay
<monerobull:matrix.org> seems like sane KYC requirements
-
m-relay
<monerobull:matrix.org> lol at the line command
-
m-relay
-
m-relay
<monerobull:matrix.org> the inconsistency is funny
-
m-relay

m-relay
<monerobull:matrix.org> you have to sign messages :P "By_signing_this_message,_you_confirm_that_you_are_the_sole_owner_of_the_provided_Blockchain_address._Your_ID:_"

m-relay
<vikrants:monero.social> Yep..we pushed them to support monero with the promise of adding them to Cake and Monerocom . So you’ll see them in cake and Monerocom soon.
-
m-relay
<monerobull:matrix.org> cool
-
m-relay
<monerobull:matrix.org> they seem decent
-
dEBRUYNE
vikrants: You will support their token I presume?
-
m-relay
<vikrants:monero.social> What token?
-
m-relay
<monerobull:matrix.org> why would this fiat payment gateway have a token
-
m-relay
<gfdshygti53:monero.social> what is the limit?
-
m-relay
<monerobull:matrix.org> it will probably tell you when seriously doing a swap
-
m-relay
<monerobull:matrix.org> but i cant find any numbers without it
-
m-relay
<vikrants:monero.social> 1000 Euros by wire or sepa.
-
nioc
under their T&C for "light" KYC ... "Transfers of cryptocurrencies to an unverified public address are not accepted."
-
m-relay
<vikrants:monero.social> let me find out what "unverified public address" means.
-
nioc
1000 euros per day, week, month, year or lifetime ?
-
nioc
"Registration is basically done via the blockchain address, specifying the customer's email or phone number."
-
nioc
huh
-
m-relay
<vikrants:monero.social> asked to clarify
-
m-relay
<gfdshygti53:monero.social> So they want to know ho is behind each address
-
m-relay
<gfdshygti53:monero.social> So you have to kyc for each address or you have to always use the same
-
m-relay
<gfdshygti53:monero.social> sus
-
m-relay
<vikrants:monero.social> 1000 Euros per every 24 hours. no monthly limit.
-
nioc
full KYC can happen "at DFX's request at any time without giving any reason.'
-
m-relay
<vikrants:monero.social> If you refuse KYC, they will refund.
-
dEBRUYNE
vikrants: From DFX, but I suppose you will use them as change provider / service
-
m-relay
<vikrants:monero.social> Yeah they will be an option like we do now with onramper, moonpay, etc.
-
m-relay
<vikrants:monero.social> Regarding "verified address", they use your blockchain address as username and a digital signature of a text message as password.
-
nioc
murica is not on their list of countries served
-
m-relay
<vikrants:monero.social> Right.. this is only for europe in Euros and Swiss Francs
-
nioc

m-relay
<vikrants:monero.social> that's europeans for ya!
-

I went to T&C first, silly me

<vikrants:monero.social> Donation time! Sent $1000 to Pokkst and $3000 to Stack Wallet all in XMR of course! Why? We all have to support the Monero ecosystem!
-
nioc
wen I search pokkst everything I see is bcash
-
m-relay
<vikrants:monero.social> They you are looking at the wrong pokkst. He is the maker of mysu monero wallet.

I looked for a few seconds
-

<rucknium:monero.social> You said that "you are looking at the wrong pokkst." It's the same pokkst
-
m-relay
<rucknium:monero.social> Ok :)

m-relay
<vikrants:monero.social> I know.. I'm in good mood :)

<vikrants:monero.social> Then you are looking at the wrong pokkst. He is the maker of mysu monero wallet. UPDATE: I have been corrected.

<cx_:matrix.org> Is there a theoretical/suggested limit to the maximum amount of sub address my wallet could have
-
selsta
theoretical limit is 2^32
-
selsta
but real limit is how much RAM you have
-
m-relay
<cx_:matrix.org> Do you have any idea how many sub addresses a wallet would be able to have with 8/16gb of ram. I assume it's only indexing the addresses or creating a new address which would consume ram rather than just storing them as I thought they wouldn't all always be in RAM
-
selsta
I don't know what you mean with storing
-
selsta
The more subaddresses get scanned for new transactions, the more RAM is required
-
selsta
I think 8-16GB is more than enough for more subaddresses than you will ever be able to use
-
m-relay
<cx_:matrix.org> Hypothetically at a million sub addresses for example would the delay become noticeable
-
plowsof
A hypothetical quantum computer would have no delay
-
m-relay
<rune_door:matrix.org> Is Trezor still good to use?
-
m-relay
<cx_:matrix.org> I was more so referring to a hypothetical 8/16gb computer
-
selsta
delay in what? it only increases RAM usage, it doesn't increase sync time
-
selsta
creating the subaddresses initially takes some time but once they are created they only use RAM, don't need extra sync time
-
