solo mining in the gui requires a fully synced local node (simple mode does not give you this, only advanced mode) but you can switch from simple to advanced at any time

moneromerch states that they donate 30% of profits to the CCS (reduced to 20% now). is my understanding correct that they can prove donations, per transaction, without needing to reveal the wallets private-view key? the discussion on reddit here:

thanks, yes, and the follow up comment from them shows that we would never know its actually x% of their profits, even if they prove a payment, so it would seem logical to me to not approve of businesses to claim a specific %'s being donated as a way to advertise their service. i'd prefer 'we regularly donate to xyz + proof'

If you ask for a set amount to be donated every X period you either force them to disclose their round, gross sales number since it has to be X percentage of total sales, per month or specific period. Otherwise it's a set on stone value regardless of them meeting goal numbers or not. Hm.

I messed around with it some and `create_transactions_2` is just really designed to have a change output / do input selection as if we always need a change output. I think trying to add support for no-change 16 destination transfers inside that function would require a LOT of logic changes. It might just <clipped message>
