<btclovera:matrix.org> I see qubic is not anymore reporting hahsrate to Mining Pool Stats?
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> Correct
-
m-relay
<btclovera:matrix.org> I see they have 2 GH hash power, but the network hahsrate is around 5,5 GH.
-
m-relay
<btclovera:matrix.org> The summarize of the Mining Pool Stats is 4,5 GH
-
m-relay
<btclovera:matrix.org> What is wrong?
-
m-relay
<btclovera:matrix.org> Small groups pools mining in qubic pool? 😅
-
m-relay
<btclovera:matrix.org> Well, their stats just jumped from 2 to 0.9 GH... More sense
-
plowsof
if they are still using the same wallet for mining deposits then this will likely continue receiving updates

<btclovera:matrix.org> Thanks plowsof

plowsof: have you read the MRL meeting
-
nioc
seems q may have changed some things
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> I think ruck said they changed walleta
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> Qubic just stopped reporting their hashrate as coming from their pool
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> So it appears as unknown hashrate now
-
nioc
it's cooling down here is 36hrs
-
plowsof
nyes (1st half live, caught up now thanks nioc ) -
libera.monerologs.net/monero-research-lab/20250730#c546787 , maybe the factual graphs interfered with their marketing too much

plowsof
monerobulls motivational speeches that kept telling me to "Think" on twitter have changed me for the better

<lordx3nu:matrix.org> I don't get this strategy from them. They have been getting momentum from all of their shills spamming their supposed hash rate and graphs of all of the blocks they were getting. At any rate, they have like ~30 blocks out of the last 100 now which is above average for it not being Saturday.
-
nioc
where did you get the 30 block number?
-
m-relay
<lordx3nu:matrix.org> Miningpoolstats
-
m-relay
<lordx3nu:matrix.org> It shows unknown blocks. Apparently the average is ~1.5 so take the number you see and subtract.
-
nioc
ok, thx
-
sech1
Not all of unknown blocks come from Qubic
-
sech1
miningpoolstats shows 29 unknown now, 27 of them are Qubic (private data that I have)
-
sech1
They probably got lucky in the last 100 blocks, because they don't have enough hashrate to regularly get 27/100 with their mining/not mining switching
-
m-relay
<lordx3nu:matrix.org> Do you have any data regarding miners migrating to qubic from other pools?
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> No
-
m-relay
<ofrnxmr:xmr.mx> Because it hasnt happened lol
