you could maybe get it to work by using the torsocks program

er, tsocks. not torsocks.

lza_menace: actually, ignore the above. configure your Tor relay to expose an http proxy port with the HTTPTunnelPort directive. then run the mymonero app with the https_proxy environment variable set to that address and port.

on android, orbot should work. and i'm pretty sure you can add your own certs to the trusted store on android relatively easily. though i didn't test that

if you add your own certs to the android store, you will forever after be pestered with an android warning that your phone may be insecure
