huh. the spam call sniffing bots have a new strategy, where they call and once connected have a dude saying "hello, can you hear me? my blutooth is connecting, hang on.."

these spam callers will call and wait to hear input from your end. once they hear input, they will connect you to whatever scam they are pushing (medicare, car warranty, etc). If you pick up and mute, you never get connected, and if you do that enough, they eventually drop the number from their database (supposedly) because they deem it dead
