I feel like I should've understood this long ago, but: in the GUI wallets, is it right to understand that each GUI wallet has ONE and only one (primary) address, and that each time one "create(s) a new address" one is generating a "subaddress" from that one (and only one) (primary) address?

You can verify this by looking at the first digit of the address. Subaddresses start with 8.

As it is written, it seems as if Bisq generates a new XMR subaddress to send funds to--but that can't be what it means. It must just mean that I need to create a new subaddress each time.

eudaimon36: I read the notice. I think they dont understand Monero's mechanics. They think that sending coins to a subaddress more than once will trigger the burning bug. That's not correct.
