What happened that i am getting 1 min confirmation for XMR transaction set at x5 fee o_o

blocks average 2 minutes but can be anywhere from 1 second to many minutes

there is no need to use a 5x fee

a tx with the lowest fee will be included in the next block 99% of the time

i know but it's usually like 10+ min this time it was like instant 🤔

though that someone did something to monero to speed that up

I am just trying to write something that doesn't require a full or pruned node. Regular get_blocks from the Onion Blockchain Explorer or the RPC only fetches the TXIDs, which means 1 API call for the block and 20~ API calls to get each TX. But get_blocks.bin and get_blocks_by_height.bin include the block's transactions, so it's only 1 API call, but it must be deserialized from binary (was able to write PHP code to do this).

Recanman would be able to write better code and a better platform than me, but sadly his CCS is unmerged since 1~ month, so it seems there is low demand for Bitejo (neither in PHP nor in Node.js).

What there is no demand for though: a rewrite of the same thing by someone else. You did the work so you should be rewarded for it and not recanman.

Bitejo's code is low quality. Recanman is a more professional and capable programmer than I am. And I was not able to make Bitejo popular since its release in 2021, I don't have the social skills, marketing skills or business skills for that, and I can't network/go on podcasts/visit conferences under this username (and most Bitcoin/Monero platforms spread by word of mouth and connections). I just don't have the required skills.

If people would be interested in Bitejo, they would have merged and funded Recanman's CCS by now.

Hopefully his Monero Integrations CCS will be merged. Many people use Monero Integrations (e.g. the WooCommerce plugin) and it seems like Serhack is open to someone taking over the maintenance.
