<pcre:monero.social> I exchange one Bitcoin for Monero every month. Each of these Bitcoin has no history and I can continue to do so for 150 years. How much Bitcoin do I have and what will the price in BTC of Monero be in 150 years?
-

Bold of you to assume you'll be alive in 150 years

<pcre:monero.social> I might need to ask this question in a Bitcoin Maximalist forum.

I'm a Spaghetti dragon and I have Bitcoin. I spend Monero on stuff every 36.5 hours. How much Spaghetti do I have and what will the price of Monero be in 300 years?
-
m-relay
<pcre:monero.social> I see your point

Mochi101
But can you answer my question?
-
m-relay
<pcre:monero.social> The answer is, I'm dying of a spaghetti overdose.

<ryangomesdm:matrix.org> Have you ever had a problem downloading the blockchain? I waited a week and on the last day of the download there was an error, and I'm downloading the blockchain from scratch, with 150 GB already downloaded on my HD

<paranoia_machinery:monero.social> The HD could be to slow? Not sure but I think ssd is better for downloading the blockchain. At least it is faster

<someoneelse495495:matrix.org> You're probably downloading the blockchain in full mode. 150GB should be near the end. Monerod should have warned you at the beginning, syncing on mechanical hard drives is extremely slow. I recommend you buy an SSD in the future, which will make your node significantly faster.

<plowsof:matrix.org> miad matrix dot org homeserver is suffering from major issues, you can follow the chat on
libera.monerologs.net/monero/20240602#c383354 for now where xmrscott replied. any other homeserver than matrix dot org should be _ok_*

I hate how Matrix has this one central homeserver that has its tentacles in pretty much every major chat.

<conk:monero.social> If only their main matrix was made specifically for the matrix devs and nothing else, or for beta testing, matrix would've been a much better platfrom
