whyyyyy does the client make me wait for 10 confirmations

would peers really reject my transaction if I sent it using "unconfirmed" funds?

if there's like already 6 confirmations for instance

Monerod should have warned you at the beginning, syncing on mechanical hard drives is extremely slow. I recommend you buy an SSD in the future, which will make your node significantly faster.
