on libera, tbh, 1) register account (libera.chat/guides/registration) on non-tor ip+email (whatever); 2) connect using Tor (requires authentication) then join channels

the 2) enforces auth so you never end up unauthenticated

the rest is operational, if you click links assume they can see who clicked them lol etc.
