They weren't the only ones. WooKey, Exodus, MyMonero, Atomic, Guarda, and Zelcore all had Monero wallet downtime after the network upgrade.

Monero GUI, Feather, Monerujo, and Cake at least were all ready for the network upgrade.

It's mind blowing how these wallets didn't update in time for the network fork... Like what's more important to do... Glad I am using official monero client

And are "lite wallets" where you give up your view key to a centralized server. They arent wallets that followed the core implementation. Iirc Mymonero also has and had a different fees and decoy selections respectively.

Tldr. Stick to wallets that dont rely on third party workarounds
