while this touches abstract_tcp_server, it should not impact P2P at all if I understand it correctly, only RPC

Hello i am trying to create transaction for a monero light weight wallet using monero cpp code without synchronising the wallet because (it takes too long), i get all the data from lightweight wallet like random outs etc. and i have seen in code that there are if statements checking if the wallet is lightweight, can i open the lightweight wallet in

monero-cpp code (i am now using wallet->load(wallet_path, pass) but it has to sync because its the normal wallet type). Okay so the main question is based on that if statements can i create a transaction with create_transactions_2 function with the lightweight wallet instance that is synced but on, in this case  on monero-lws

because it looks to me that it just has connection to the lws api and nothing else

it has its own endpoints however

i made the first lws client lib for the public lol

and helped sponsor the open source monero lws project… bc i ran mymonero for 4 years ;)

but youre right that once you have the data parsed you largely can plug it directly into the right places in wallet2 which i have fairly directly factored

i used to factor my own custom monero core but i have a much nicer system after 5 years of stealth :)

when i released open src libs in the past other companies ran with them and i got cut out of the proceeds

so i figured if i had to build lws client and server again just for other groups to profit from them while i was homeless

anyway, i had to help a friend in serious trouble recently or you’d have had the code already

because i feel lost right now (mainly in the create_transactions_2 function)

you need create transactions 2 and to prep the data structure for it but it’s not trivial

There’s a lot of nuance in the code that prepares things

I am extremely familiar with that code and it took me some weeks to get it perfect and I also discovered something concerning in the process

if you can wait a little while, then I will release the code for free

there are other examples of similar code out there. The problem is that they don’t all handle coins from all types of transactions yet

I would like to release the code shortly. Maybe I will before a ccs. idk

I hope everyone understands my situation, but I don’t think anyone realizes what was done to me and why I might be like this now

it doesn’t really matter though. All I’m interested in is releasing my code and being able to run a wallet again.

when I found Monero back in 2016 the first thing I heard was that it was so difficult for anyone to make a mobile wallet and I had so many years hand coating such things that that was the easy part for me

but I got caught up in someone else’s project

monero is a special project

it has attracted genuine, cipher, punks, and researchers and freedom fighters who really respect human rights. But like any genuine community, they’re going to be lots of different people who are attracted to it for their own reasons.

there are some other forms of solutions for these systems, which I think I will discuss in my proposal

to learn and become part of this interesting community
